Every article on Modern Paintball is written by experienced paintball players and researchers who are actively involved in the sport. We cover gear, gameplay, and the paintball community with one goal: give players honest, useful information.
How We Evaluate Gear
Our gear recommendations are based on:
- Reliability: Does it work consistently out of the box and over time?
- Performance: How does it shoot, feed, or protect compared to competitors at the same price?
- Value: Does the price match what you get? We consider both new and used market pricing.
- Community consensus: What do tournament players, field owners, and long-time rec players say?
- Maintenance: How easy is it to service, and are parts readily available?
We do not accept free products in exchange for reviews. We do not accept payment for placement in best-of lists. Every recommendation reflects our genuine assessment.
